This is a Rose City Yarn Crawl – 2014 pattern. Patterns offered during the crawl were based on parks near each shop. Ours was themed after The Fields Park viewable from our front door.
This squishy little project features a fun pairing of simple lace and a basic cable, combining classic elements of Celtic imagery in celebration of St. Patrick, (Padraig is the traditional Irish form of the name Patrick). A fast knit, this project is perfect for any time of year. Bring a little luck o’ the Irish to your knitting!
- 1 skein of solstice luna sock or midsommar sock (430 yds, fingering weight)
- Size US #6/32″ circular needle.
- Cable needle and darning needle (for finishing).
Gauge: 21 sts and 36 rows over 4″. (Gauge is not crucial for this project, although it is designed to use the ENTIRE skein, so it is wise to swatch if you are working with 430 yards).
