Knitting is dino-mite! I know at some point in your life you have thought to yourself “You know, I love sweaters and what-have-you, but all I REALLY want to knit is dinosaurs.” Since I am a mind reader, I have made that a possibility for you! I mean seriously, how flipping awesome is a knitted dinosaur? Awesome enough that you are going to buy this pattern and get cast on today! See, I really am a mind reader.
Gauge: You pick! Simply knit with your choice of yarn on needles 2-3 sizes smaller than called for to get a tight knit fabric your stuffing wont show through.
Finished Measurements: Samples range from 8 tall to 15 tall
Materials Used: 150-200 yards of yarn in your main color and 100-150 yards of yarn in your contrast color.
Needle Size: You pick! A 40″ circular needle in a size appropriate for you yarn. See the pattern for more info.
Pattern Includes: Written direction and photos. Pattern also includes 3 samples knit in various gauge yarns and a fun story about Basil.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Notions: safety eyes or scrap yarn, waste yarn in the same weight (but different color) from your working yarn, tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers, stuffing, straight pins, row counter, stuffing.
