Silk Decadence uses 55% Blue Faced Leicester superwash wool combined with 45% Silk. The Blue Faced Leicester sheep breed is British and is well known for producing some of the finest British yarns. Combining it with silk gives a luxurious decadent feel and gorgeous sheen making it wonderful to work with. This versatile yarn can be used for a wide range of garments including socks and will give you the most wonderful feeling of luxury. This yarn has been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore it will not ‘felt’ when washed. It is a great easy-care yarn. Hand dyed in Devon, England.
